Yaif you go to tank maker to do this will be expensive. i gets what you mean. Bro jojoe also did his tank this way to siphon out those uneaten food by the shrimps easily.

for those who are interested in my artificial hatchery here's the photo



the wire is actually stainless steel wire from " selley "

the strainer is those stainless steel tea strainer.

just bend the wire in place, when both ends meets, heat shrink them in place with wire heat shrink.

I am wondering whether it will be good if I place it next to my hang on filter, the flow will be able to air the eggs. Do you think it is a good idea?

shouldn't be a problem. most importantly, when you scrape out the eggs, sterilize the equipments first. never handle the eggs with your finger.
