CRS eggs disappear!

I jus bought a prgenant crs one month ago and it keeps hiding and when it came out the eggs are like decreasing each time she comes out?whats the reason?Thanks

err, a bellied crs needs 28-30 days depending on temperature to hatch her eggs. Congrats, you are a grandfather now. just try to look out for tiny red white stripe shrimplets hiding in your mossy areas. They normally will hid there for food. remember to use a sponge to cover the inlet of the filter.

ok,i saw Very very very small things swimming around in the mosses but it swims very fast.Is it the shrimplets?

To be honest, without a photo, we are as clueless as you are wbout whether they are shrimplets. For all we know, it can be daphnia, cyclops, seed shrimp, clam shrimp, the list goes on. How does it swim? Can you at least give a brief description?

hee hee, we cannot help you if there's no image or photo for reference. try to use a magnifying glass and focus a shot.

You should see mini shrimplets not small things, no matter what, if your eye sight is good enough, the shrimplet will still look like a shrimp. If not it is proby some bugs in your tank.

some of the shrimplets are able to show their colours even 1 - 2 days after hatching. Try this method, switch off your shrimp tank light and tries to shine torch light on to those mossy areas or driftwood, you can see the shine out like stars

If they are flying around in the tank, then it could be seed shrimp.
