Won't badis-badis eat shrimps too?
Nice tank bro... The plant grow so fast and very well too... Looking forward for more pictures... Congrats...
In my opionion, Badis bengalensis is too small to eat shrimps. I like to see their curious characteristic.Very cute.
I found 2 more big dark grey lava rock from my friend. He will pass it over to me after clear off his tank..time to join the 2 islands together.

My badis only take live food. If there are worms, great. But you might have to remove them after that because I don't think you want introduce life food to your tank.
I got plenty of tiny bugs (as big as this *) in my tank. Nothing alarming so i hope this little fish can help me eat them

Wow... looking good! You still keeping up with the 70% water change everyday? Lighting hours also increased from 5 hours already right?
Photoperiod increased to 7.5 hours daily.
Tank temperature 22C
Water change now 3 days once @ 70%. (not recommended to follow unless you know for sure that livestock can take it)
Day 1 >>>> Day 18
From the 1st picture, you can see the original Katana T5 spectrum compare to Giesemann.

PROX, your progress shots are amazing and the glosso is spreading so well. The colour rendering of the Giesemann tubes looks so much better - well worth the change!
bro any reason why you do 70% everyday?
Is the reason for the 70% wc to reduce algae growth?
Cheers,

I recycled the old soil and it is cloudy for the first 1-2weeks. I have to performed 70% WC to get it clear. Now WC is reduced to 3 days once for about 50%.
ADA Amazonia I tend to cloud water more than A2.
I use BorneoWild Growth now to suppress algae growth (I hope it works...)
