U keeping only live rocks? no corals no fishes? can u confirm that???[:0]

    2) Is a Eheim pro 2222 good enough for my 2ft tank ?
if just LR, a hang on filter will do especially only 2ft

    3) What type of lighting(brand/type) is required best for my fishes and rocks

fish only tanks, dun really need strong lights like MH.. normal FL tubes meant for marine will do

    4) How would i know that when my water is save enough to start putting the fishes in and how long does it takes normally ?
take a look at the aquatic FAQ and learn abt the nitrogen cycle. it usually takes abt 4-6 weeks to mature the tank. Using test kits to test the suitability of water quality

    5) I believe that i need some supplements to make the water a pleasant one

trace elements. The rest of the supplements are mostly for corals.

    Thanks in advanced !

Fyi , I intend to keep a tank with both lives rock and fishes so do i need just only a hang in filter or something better?
Can PL light be used , those with 2 tubes 1 side blue and 1 side white?
And lastly , is it possible that i transfer my marine tank to another tank after the cycle?

    Thanks

in that case, wat size tank are u talking abt? i dun recommend anything smaller than 2ft and with a 2ft tank, me personally is using a eheim 2213 but before u replica the same, let me tell u something first, i only have 1 seahorse inside and 2 shrimps. nothing else, thus, my system is able to support. Added to that, i have 4 pieces of macroalgae rocks to help to bring down the nitrate
Can PL light be used , those with 2 tubes 1 side blue and 1 side white?
provide u are using the 50/50 actinic/white PL lights meant for marine. it is suffice. however, if the lights that u are referring to is those for LH, then, it will not be enuff
And lastly , is it possible that i transfer my marine tank to another tank after the cycle?
wat do u mean by that? transfer the entire contents? if u are having DSB, it will have an effect on the bacteria growing inside and u have to recultivate them again.. but the cycle is only the most, another week or less..

Hi , sry I have another question , cause currently my marine tank has a nitrate value of about 3 even after I put in nitrate minus to reduce nitrate in the water ...what can be done to reduce the nitrate level or is it too fast to gauge cause my water cycle is only 2 weeks old.

be patient.. let the tank mature first.. give it some more time.. use of nitrate minus? to be honest, i dun trust such products. The best way to reduce nitrate is either using macroalgae and change water.

I believe is not take out all the water and add put salt and water and start a new cycle rite...

1)Can i know how much water to take out
2)And do i put in the same amount of water and do i need to add salt again?

    3) Is macroalgae known as "hai tan" (RMKS: ORANGE SPIKES DARK BLUE INSIDE )

dpends on what u do.. if i change say, 50% of the water, i merely draw out the water from the tank, then i put tapwater into the sump and at the same time, dump in synthetic sea salt.. the sump will do the mixing up for me as i have a small pump in there.

1)Can i know how much water to take out
just before u start stocking up, i (IMO) would remove and change 50% of the water. then weekly, if u are religious enuff to do it, change of 20% will suffice
2)And do i put in the same amount of water and do i need to add salt again?
    yes

sorry, i dun understand u on this.. basically, they look like seaweed on a piece of live rock...
