    Hi guys,

How do you define a plantlet?

If I cut a whole leaf from my E.ozelot or E.rose, is that considered a plantlet?

    Tks

Bro, depends on what plant sp you talking about. For E. species, the mother plant will grow a stalk of flowers and typically a plantlet will grow at the flower part of the stalk. (sorry for my Singlish)

NO, these are "Soon-to-be" dead leaves. these fellow will grow a shoot out off the water where a few nodes appear and leaves will start growing from these nodes after flowering see the E. Ozelot flower in my gallery. once roots develope, separate them they are ready to be planted...
