    Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum..
    My friend recommended here, but i am not sure what is his nick here.. Haha..

    Currently a newbie in shrimp tank.. Just started this new hobby a month back..

    Keeping only low grade CRS and BDS.. And only a few higher grades which i bought from sellers here..

    Will try to post pics of my new tank soon.. =)

    Setting up my 2ft tank for cycling of water.

    Not bad for a starter. I guess your friend had guide you along the way. Good job.

    1 question, how long have you cycle your tank before adding shrimps? Oh, you might wants to turn your chiller exhaust behind instead of facing the canister.

    i cycled for 3days, after which i put in a few of what u guys so call commandos in..
    can't wait to see shrimps inside la.. haha
    all seems well and no deaths have occurred..
    and i start to add more as days goes..

    Oh. Do you have any test kit? Is the filter with new media or old media? If no for above 2 questions, its better to keep the commandos in for around 3-4 weeks before you start adding shrimps

    never get any test kits.. its a new filter..
    cannot remove them anymore.. no spare tanks to keep them..
    just have to use all of them as commandos and see how..
    but they seem too lively to have any thing happen to them..
    have to pray hard..

    Lively can be stress due to the bad water parameter for them. Just try to observe them more. 3 days is actually too short for BB to establish well.

    ok.. will do.. but they seem to be feeding fine too.. will observe them more before i get to buy more.. Thanks for the advice..
