    Hi All

    Can anyone tell me how much of these i need for a tank measuring 2ft x 1ft x 1ft?

    How much of Fe, MgSO4*7H2O, K2SO4 do i have to add?

    my Blyxa Japonica's new leaves all browish.. how come?

    got quite alot of algea also

    It is normal for BJ to turn brownish. It is because your light is strong.

    ooo hmmm 72W for 2ft too strong? sianz....

    i tot their leaves turn brown cause of some nutrient deficency?

    That's about 5wpg. Pretty high and you need to be careful with this much of light. Try lowering to 36W to get things in order first. At this light level and a good CO2 level, your tank consumes nutrients faster.

    Yes, with this light, the growing tip of your BJ will turn brownish. It's okay. As for algae, what are they? Some of it may be due to your generous light.

    Fe- about 0.5ppm.
    K- 20~30ppm. Some tanks do with just 10~15ppm.
    Mg- depends on whether you use Coral chips and how regular you change water. I change 50% fortnightly and dose not more than 2ppm at the beginning of the second week.
