    yea. i getting 2 feet alr. thanks! and just went to seaview to get kh/no3/no4/ammonia test kit. but GH is? cycled well doesnt mean faster flow right? i planning to keep mosquito rasbora. my gf say really mid water nothing v pathetic. hahaha

    I used to ask all these too.. But frankly, only Oto are known not to gobble up shrimplets..
    GH is general hardness of the water.. CRS are more particular about water perimeter so when water cycled well (2wks - 1mth) only thing to really monitor is PH & GH.. During cycle is ammonia, NO3, NO4..

    Mid level with no fauna is very boring but to risk shrimplets being eaten up? I don't think I will do that but it's your call..

    For your 2ft, what filter you using? What media? Chiller? Flora & fauna?
