are u sure u want to get them? they tends to pollute the water very fast if your filter is not efficient.

that had been used by some aquarists.. personally, i never tried it.

    To feed corals, try rotifers.

liquidfry is based on pea flower. apart from sponges, it doesn't really benefit anything else. Nutritional content wise......very little. It just like feeding yeast.
You will be polluting your tank more than feeding it. Get ready for high PO4 and NO3 levels.

With regards to choosing a liquid food for corals- go for something that has phytoplankton in it as an ingredient or as the main ingredient.
The best so far is DT phytoplankton as its still live...but its expensive.Available at most of the better marine LFS.
a cheaper alternative is to get some phytoplankton from watercircle (small bottles at $3 each) - the phytoplankton food particle size in these products ranges between 2-8microns.
For gorgonians, carnations, goniopora, alveopora, small clams, flame scallops, all sponges and filter feeders. will also feed the micro organisms in the tank like copepods, amphipods.

Rotifers are sold live- these are abt 100-150microns in size and benefit the predatory corals such as SPS,gorgonians, marine fish fry and filter feeders.
you can buy a bag from watercircle.
You can culture them if you have a source of phytoplankton.

    Hi Tropic,

    - If I am not wrong, u can get it at PetMart for $5 a bottle. Just to share my part of the knowledge with the rest here, since I have derived my own method There are so many coral foods out there in the market, I presumed each will have it's own benefits So, I studied the content of each individual coral food, what they does, what types of corals feeds on what, then I start to buy a couple of different coral foods according to my needs in my tank.

    - I will put some of each into the ice-cube maker with all the 'zoom in brands' that I have aquired. Frooze them, and put 1 ice cube into my tank every 3 to 4 days and let the wave maker distribute it all over the tank, so that all the corals can feed equally.

    - This method I have been using it for over a year since I started and my corals all seems fine and happy too If anyone wants to know exactly what I used for the coral ice cubes, I have to go back and copy down what the foods I mixed for my corals.

    - I used the same method for all my fishes too The ice cube food was so good that my Lion fish that initially feeds on live fishes now swallow the whole ice cube in full !!! I have no choice put to take out my lion fish that have grow too big for my tank to be released into the sea. Hope he will have a better life there

    Cheers

    Hi Hopping hippo

    - The coral foods that I have includes :

    1) Liquifry Marine
    2) Coralife
    3) JBL Korall Fluid
    4) Advanced Phytoplankton diet
    5) Marine Snow

    - I mixed the above 5 items little of each and froze them into ice-cubes to be fed to all my corals

    - The fish food include :

    1) Frozen Mysis Shrimps
    2) Frozen Brine shrimps
    3) rozen prawns (chopped minced)
    4) Daphnia
    5) VitaChem
    6) Garlic Guard
    7) Dry Pellet food

    - Mixed the 7 items into ice cubes for 2 weeks supply. All my fishes simply loved the combination, even newly added fishes could not stand the temptations

    Cheers
