i used to use malayan shrimps as my clean up crew for hair algae.. they are much more efficient compared to yamato IMO.. they are hardy as well.. and well, they are pretty cheap.
Hello,
I am seeking forumers that have problems with algae and have tried the Malayan Shrimps approach to control the growth? How is your experiences?
Is the algae controlled?
Is the Malayan Shrimp die-off rate very high?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. The Malayan Shrimps are doing great job of clearing the algae from the plant.... probably because of the fishes, they have not get around to clearing the hair-grass.
