Choose smaller fishes for the small tank. Rasbora for shoaling fish and Tiger otto for the cleaning crew.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Trim the glosso and stick them into the substrate with only the leaves showing...keep doing that and they will soon stay there.

Maybe you can try other plants with smaller leaves like MM and MU.

Maybe a red plant as the focus point will make the tank look nicer.

May I know what is MM, MU? Will be interested to have smaller plants for foreground then shift glosso to mid ground.

CT: You are absolutely right. I have tried a few red plants but they don't seem to survive well in my tank. Will keep on trying

Peter: This the third time I replanted them just like what you suggested. Still not much improvement.

    Thanks.

Tay, with glosso you got to be patience and "train" then to lay down and not "standing" so it also improves your triming skill though...
If I have a dollar & you have a dollar & we swap, neither is better off. BUT if I have an idea & you have an idea & we swap we are both richer

Moderate lighting will be enough to keep them down. As Rashid said, it takes some patience to push each stem down in the begining. I have grow flat growing glosso at 2W/gal.

I have two 11w PL. One is labeled aquatic light (bought from LFS) the other one is a normal Philips PL. I have about 4w per litre which is around 2w per gallon.

Maybe it is because I have not "trained" them enough

Regarding the photo quality, I have adjusted the contrast, color balance and resolution using Adobe Photoshop.[]
