Many plants adapt to conditions and develop different colouration. It may not mean that the plants are less healthy in each environment. Main thing is that they appear to be growing healthily (albeit slowly in some environments).

Signs of poor health (not all appear or is visible to naked eye in mosses):
    - Extreme discolouration: whitening or yellowing
    - Distortion of leaves
    - Holes in leaves
    - Death and loss of leaves and or other parts of plant
    - Negligible growth

Bro Vinz, Thank for the imput.

I'll observe more. however now i using a Accadia Light 2 tube (2ft) and on for like 10- 12 hr a day. Will prolong expose to light may also lead to unhealthy growth?

May i know what the ideal duration time frame that a moss require?

The general wisdom is 10 to 12 hours... like natural daylight hours.

I've not read anything about unhealthy growth due to prolonged hours, but I have seen some plants (Gratiola sp.) close their leaves after certain hours of light. Also I've noticed red tiger lotus tilt their leaves flat throughout the day but tilt upwards after certain hours of light. So, at least some plants know how to shut down and go "sleep" once they get enough.
