I used to get glosso to grow like mad at about 28 degrees, ph of 6.4 wayyy back then.

Having said that, I believe light and CO2 are more important factors for it to creep along the substrate.

Glosso is relatively hardy, so light is by far the most important factor for growing glosso. T5 or PC lighting is essential to make it grow horizontally (like a carpet) rather than vertically.

With good lighting, I've grown glosso carpets with and without CO2, CO2 just helps it grow 2-3 times faster, which is great while its filling it, not so great when it gets too thick.

Temp and pH aren't really an issue, if your fish are living in it, the glosso will too. I've grown glosso in Discus and shrimp tanks (high temp/low pH and low temp/neutral pH) with equal success.
