i would to remove the adults to another tank as they will see new fries as food when hungry...

Try moving a potion of your fries to another tank too, note to use the same water and slowly add in new water

Guppy are very easy and doesnt need much attention even for their fries, feed them with small flakes they will be good to go

Hey Thanks! If you had enough of the fries, do you just let them become food for the parents?

I would keep the fries cos not all the fries will turn out to be the best as some will be deformed. Erm...to me, fries being food for the parents sounds kind of cruel...

Yes, I agree that it is cruel. But what would you do if there are too many fries (and eventually) adults that it starts upsetting the bioload?

normally people would sell them or pass them to other people
Too much of a fish SIAO to quit fish keeping/fishing..

    Re: Qns on Guppy Trio

I would either give to friends, kids or schools who wants them for projects or release into pond. Selling is also possible provided that the guppies are those popular strains like Albino Full Red, Moscow, Blue Grass etc... which people would want.
Bioload can be easily managed with more filtration (media and filter) or water change. Cost of feeding would be a consideration for having too many guppies which is why most people do culling.
