oh, sorry. how to propagate US fissiden

From another forum:
Good lighting
Cool water around 25 deg C
CO2 injection
Liquid fert twice a week - heavy iron and trace elements, so I figure one of the Ferka stuff will work well.
Further information searches on Google will probably aid you, or just follow the basic rule of cool water and CO2 injection.![]()
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.

no need to do any cutting?
bro madscientist, what do you mean by no need to do any cutting? growing us fissiden is just like any other moss, tie them on driftwood/bogwood/stainless steel mesh/rocks/stones. you just have to cut them when you thinks that they are messy.

oh, sorry for bad english, i am trying to multiply them

I think you mean how to separate them to grow more. Moss usually just cut it at any where you like and spread it apart. Repeat it every time it gets thick enough.

yes. thank you. is there a limit to how small i can cut each bit before they wont regrow?

Not sure on the limit but you might not want to cut it too small if not you will have problem securing it down. Split at the base where there are a few "leafs" for each portion.
