Bro, maybe a clearer photo would be better to aid you in IDing the fish.
Dear bros, pls help to ID this fish. It is about 3 cm long and seldom seen in lfs. It has a slightly purple colour near its tail. Thanks.

SOme kind of characin, but im no expert.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.

Looks like a blue tetra- http://www.aquariumlife.net/profiles...tra/100133.asp
You can if you dare to fail - Stan Chung
From the blurry photos that you showed, I agree with Stan Chung that its definitely a Cochus blue tetra, Boehlkea Fredcochui. Emperor tetra has a bold black band that runs along the mid-section of its body which the blue tetra lacks & have extra filaments sticking out of its fins. Looks rare to me because I haven't been able to find blue tetra available in Singapore. Even the majestic looking emperor tetra is not that common around.
Currently keeping large predatory fish 🐟
be careful releasing this fish into your aquarium. it can be quite territorial.
