    Hi KF,

Cool, with only 2 weeks , the entire landscape looks totally different. The Rotala macrandra are thriving at the back. So red and bushy.

So, now I know snails are in fact good for the tank. Should keep those snails intact in the tank and stop eradicate them for the moment. But I just fear I might let loose some pond snail and then later create havoc in the tank for me.....

Keep us posted with the tank, should look even better once the HG covers up the bare patch.

Tank updates: Lace plant not doing well. Removed the R.macrandra. Didn't know the Crypts can grow so tall in the front right, blocking my E.Oriental.

KF, looks like you are a bit low on CO2 and PO4. Nice tank..[:]

Low on CO2 -- yes likely.
Lack of PO4? How you guess?
I put in 1.5ppm of PO4 weekly and measured about 0.5ppm at end of week. I thought should be OK? The roots of floating plants are growing long.

Oops..I should have put it this way...low on CO2 or PO4. PO4 test kits can be funny at times and you don't know whether you are measuring organic or inorganic ones...Maybe leaning towards 1-1.5ppm as the lowest on the kit would be better. Higher amount does not cause algae and some plants do grow better with it at higher ranges.

Wow..... and no visible algae.... I envy you. My HG is covered with algae. I am still struggling with balancing my nutrients.

Hey Koah Fong, nice tank! Are the plecos living in this tank?? They will be really happy to leave my tank in that case! And btw, have to thank you again for the great plants you passed me.

KF, aren't you juggling at Clarke Quay?

There's algae in the tank. Probably too much light and nutrient inbalance as I have not found out a good mix. I need to scrub the tank once or twice a week with a magnetic scrubber. Lately there's also some algae on the hair grass.

Peter: I will try more PO4 and CO2.

oqs: Sorry, the plecos are not in this tank. Hey - thanks again!

Choy: I already got my hands full. Cannot juggle. But tried to catch some of the acts. Going later again.
