How long has it been? Takes about a week or two for shop-bought glosso to convert to submersed form and start growing in earnest.
Hi, i recently started a 1ft tank with Glosso as foreground plant. Haven't seen much horizontal growth but on some which have started creeping, the leaves come out very long and skinny not like the normal "tongue" shape. I've read some threads saying its calcium deficiency, some saying that its excess CO2 and some saying its lack of light. I don't think it can be excess CO2 cos i'm using DIY with an airstone. Can someone advise what is wrong? This are my tank specs. Thanks!
Tank size: 1ft (~5 gallon)
Substrate: Amazonia 2
Lights: 2x 6W T5 (12000K) and 13W PL (6500K)
Ferts: Flourish
pH: ~6.4

Slightly over 1 week. Thing that surprised me also was that there was no melting. So far all thr glosso that I've planted have remained green
