Looks like the common ramshorn snail.
Found this unknown snail which should be a hitchhiker.
Anyone know what is this and should I remove it from the tank?
It is about 2-3 mm now and will it grow bigger?
Does it serve any purpose and will it take over the tank with its babies?

Did some search on ramshorn snail and mine doesn't look like a ram horn. I can't find it again to take a better picture so here is one that is taken showing its other side. Sorry for the blur images.

Personally, I'm ok with snails in the tank. They help with algae in general. I use fish that eats small snails to prevent the population from exploding. These fishes usually take care of the majority of the baby snails, leaving a few to grow up. Most of them seem to come out on the glass mostly after lights off, so I'm not too bothered with the unsightliness.
Looks like snails I had before. Just did a Google and came up with "Greater Ramshorn" and "Pond Snail". :-p

I am also ok with the snails except for the Nerite's eggs. It's is laying eggs all over the tank and I am have been removing them now and then...
What are some of the fish that will eats the baby snails and are ok with tetras?

I had Rams and have Botia sidithmunki.
Opinions seem divided on the latter. Some write that they work on the baby snails, thus controlling the population, but will not eradicate bigger snails.
Dwarf puffer fish enjoy a good reputation for ridding tanks of snails, but notorious at nipping tank mates and not liking fish food.

I just read that apple snail will eat the smaller snails also?
And Zebra Loach (Botia striata) will helps also.
They should not bother the horned nerite snail right?
