Hello there! I'm new to these forums. My name is Dante, and I'm from Argentina.

I started with aquariums and planted tanks 4, 5 months ago, so i'm still a newbie.
I had a nice co2 set up, 70 cm x 30 cm x 40 cm size tank, with lots of plants and about 1 watt per liter.
It all went well. Plants growing fast, some algae problems when I first started fertilizing, etc. I had a quite soft water in my parent's house, so everything was alright.
But I just moved to a new town with my girlfriend, and, oh my gosh my face when I tested the water parameters.
PH 7
GH 14
KH 17 !!!
It sucked, but, well, I'll have to live with it.
The thing is I have to start my tank from scratch.
I'm planning to do a plain tank with E minima covering almost everything, and Blyxa japonica spawning here and there. I love carpet plants so If you have any other idea, like how to mix E minima with Glosso or maybe Bacopa Iguazu sp... I would love to hear you
But other important thing is
Fish!
I can't keep the fish I had before, they water is way to hard for them. It's a shame because I really love Danio margaritatus and the American dwarf cychlids. Anyway.. do you have any ideas about this?

Thanks a lo!
