    I am using five-plan 1.5ft tank. Lots of plants in there for my shrimps to hide and play around.

    What is five-plan tank? Do you mean you have 5 of 1.5ft tanks?

    i have same problem as u bro..all my painted red carefully choosen and berried but i have until now the 4th generation red army but like yours , the colour same as pic, different from 1st batch painted red army also...sianz...now like cherry red ants...see everywhere all babies fighting for food...even the big sized ottos also lose out during food time...never think they breed so fast...faster than my pest snails lol....

    No lah, I mowed the lawn regularly so that he can see clearer. Besides, his dog has found a new partner. I haven't update yet...hahaha

    May be they are not that bad if we see them thru the lens, like sherry crystals.

    I assumed they are in a seperate tank from your best panted red?
    At what age do you seperate the shrimplets?

    I saw a packet of dried 虾米in Liang court Japanese mart. They labelled them as Sakura. I hope they are not what they meant by the sakura shrimps we kept as hobby otherwise I dare not buy and sprinkle them on my instant noodles while watching my shrimps swim in the tank.

    I think is almost the same thing, just that those for consumption are not QC or graded.
