5ft FL- where to buy

Very difficult to locate the above especially with multiple tubes like 4 FL with 38 W each.

Any lobang for the above

H2O price is steep man. Just wondering normal lighting shop have the above?

I brought a 6ft light for my kitchen before but that was 7 years ago.

Are you looking for just the tubes or a whole fixture? If it's just the tubes there is a small hardware shop in the back of Ginza Plaza (2nd floor) where I used to buy them, before I switched to CFs. They don't keep the tubes in stock, but can order them for you. Don't remember the exact price but it wasn't expensive, maybe $5 per tube. Daylight, or ~6500K.

The problem with the 38W tubes is that they are not of the standard length and power of our normal FL tubes. If I am not wrong, only Dennerle, Arcadia type of manufacturer produces this tube size/power. These should be available in fish shops.

I have checked the Osram catalogue. They do have 38W 42" tubes. But only 5000K, 4000K & 3000K tubes available. I am not sure whether they have it here in Singapore.

If u are really concern with cost, why not just DIY 4x36W PLL using rain gutters.
Advantage is 6500K with wattage near wat u want, custom size fixture and cheap!

In that case, avoid 38W FL, unless you do not mind having to replace your tubes with costly Arcadia or Dennerle tubes. Go for 30W FL or 36W PL types.

You can try Nature Aquarium @ Balestier. They have 36W PL types.
