How does lighting affects CRS? Behaviour? Thickness of white shell? I recently change my lights to 2x55 watts PLL 9000 Kelvins and it seems like my CRS are frequently hiding. After the lights get switched off, they start to roam the tank again. What benefits if I were to use a T5 or PLL ?

I guess they just need to get used to the new brightness.

As for the benefits, a T5 will be cooler than a PL lamp but T5 is not as compact and will require more T5 lamps to get the same watt as a single PL lamp of similar length.
