    hi,
this is my dry start experiment using garden mix for 2.5 weeks on my 1ft cube. for comments

light: natural day light by window. the sun hits the tank direct in the morning and evening.
plants: glosso, + 3 others. The taller green ones at the sides are harvested from wild.
    soil: $3 garden mix
water: daily 2 times spray, till moist

so far, all the 3 types of plants seems to be surviving. The glosso big leaves have turn smaller but seems to be spreading slowly.
not sure if this experiment & plants will survive when I flood the tank eventually. But till now, the plants seem that they will survive.

Based on what I have read so far, DSM is not for every type of plants. First I think you have to flood your substrate level? Its good for your Glosso and your E. Parviflorus....I don't know about the rest though.
