Can you describe this Wolf Fish? It sounds strange. I hope it's not a Mastacembelus eel. Those fellas are excellent diggers.

Sometimes when the tank goes wild, it gives you a totally different scape. Might be nice to keep that wild scape and put in some other non-digging fish.

its hoplias , i had to tied the plants onto stainless steel mesh and cut to small size light diffuser buried beneath to prevent up rooting , yes agreed i am quite enjoying the wild look maybe i might get more branchy redmoor or borneo wood blend in the left side

Haha very interesting choice of livestock for your tank. I must applaud you for using such a strange species.

Maybe next time you can add in some small guppies or platies to this tank. Who knows, they might survive in the tank like how some people keep small fishes with Arowana in the same tank.

this was quite a impromptu set-up i have to say , the fish was bought when the tank wasn't even set up , had to ask the shopkeeper to hold it one week before i collect it , next occupant might be something smaller like butis butis or ery ery

Perhaps you should keep the Hoplias in this tank. If it's already at home and you like the messy wild look, might as well leave it as it is right now.
