Can I leave the shrimps without any food in the planted tank???

Yes, as long there is bio flim growing on the plants and shrimps are able to "pick" their food from there. Sometime there maybe dead plants or dead shrimps, shrimps will just eat them off as they are basically scavengers.

we add shrimp food as supplements for them to have better growth and colorings.
