    Hey guys,

I hope that this is still relevant to the forum topic. If you buy a 3-4 ft tank with stand, which companies offer good and cheap pickup services?

In addition, how much should you expect it to cost? I think distance matters, so let's assume that is from Boon Lay to Pasir Ris.

    Thanks!

I assume you are asking about buying used tanks from individuals because Lfs can provide delivery. If buying used ones And is a big tank, need to factor in the labour cost ? I would like to know the answer too 

Yup you are right. I read about SG Bros somewhere, but I don't know how much they will quote or what the market rate is.

Maybe you can call up some logistic coy and ask. Try calling big and small players.

Can try SgBros...they are quite accomodative. a bit pricey but they do know what they doing as they have done this countless times. Used their service before. Price would differ as of lift level, empty/full with or w/out cabinet or need to fully drain out tank etc.

    Thanks for all the replies

I called SGBros to ask for their rates. He said that 2 three-ft tanks + 1 two-tier stand without water is approximately $70-130.

Other than the factors that tropic had mentioned, it also depends on tank dimensions and whether they are required to climb the steps. The price will be the same irregardless of the location. For argument sake, arranging for their services from Jurong to Bedok will cost the same even if it is just across the street.

Anyone has other pickup services that are cheaper? :P
