Re: Setting up a Newbie Tank.

Hey, looking good. I was just looking at yours and eviltrain's iwagami "Serene". His all the rocks point away from the center. Your's all point towards the center. Interesting! Plants seems to be doing well. Temperature seems quite low... maybe can increase like 0.5 degrees every week so that the plants and lifestock can adapt and also eventually remove the mist.

Re: Setting up a Newbie Tank.

yah, i agree that the rocks initially were too small. but hor, your choice of shou rocks like not uniform like that. as in not all the rocks have holes or "ugliest" side not shown.

Re: Setting up a Newbie Tank.

Wow such a complete tank with complete accessories..... "newbie"

If i'm not wrong, both inflow and outflow lily pipes, should be positioned side by side. So that the flow will be cover all the of the tank.
The updated tank, i can see hydrocotyl are added. For my own opinion, i prefer staug sp, donoi, blyxxa or maybe tennelus....

    Just trying to help

Re: Setting up a Newbie Tank.

not related to the scape but very scared of IKEA stuff. If I'm not wrong, the shelf you have is EXPEDIT and recommended load is 13kg per shelf. Your tank, water, rocks and substrate should be around 80kg.... not sure if the shelf can tahan.
