    Hi marcusth,

I believe normal superglue will do.But make sure it is aquarium safe.

In reef tanks, we use super glue to attach corals to rockscape and it is totally safe.

There's a Gel like super glue by Loctite widely used by Marine hobbyist to stick SPS to live rocks I reckon. You should be able to find them from reputable hardware store of LFS that sell Marine stuffs.

You can use superglue but it gradually reacts and dissolves into the water column turning white which can be undesirable. The fact it dissolves is more or less non relevant as the plants will by then have rooted. An alternative is to use a small blob of aquarium safe silicone or fishing line (remove 3 months after as it can deter from and aesthetically pleasing bioscape.)

    Check out this thread...

    http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...aquatic-plants!!!

I got my Loctite gel glue from hardware shop, think homefix those kind will sell. No need to go marine shop. As mentioned in the other thread, daiso glue also can use. I have used it to stick moss on wood and rocks before. Initially looks ugly due to white blobs but once the moss grows out, no one can tell the difference.

You can use any super glue its just the gel is easier to place the liquid one you can buy at 7/11 is aquarium safe.

Learned years ago while watching a seasoned marine aquarist [30+ yrs. of marine aquarium experience] that you can in fact use Crazy Glue in aquariums. Apparently doesn't break down & is non-toxic. He was gluing corals onto live rocks and stuff. Sure enough, the things were out and happy the next day =) I've tested it in one of my tanks with the same positive results [fresh water planted].

there are quite a few to choose from in daiso..i choose this since it says stick on porcelain surface which is the nearest to what i am going to stick to as other options are to be used on metal or plastic surface...

    Hopes it helps
