Nice tank.
But your red plant is too much to the right.

is it a 2ft? your lotus is cramped at the corner which may prevent it from growing bigger or not much room to grow

==================================
GOAL WITHOUT TIME LIMIT IS ONLY A DREAM.
Its a 3*1.5*2 ft tank with an Eheim 2026. 2 sets of 36W*2 lights. Lights on for 12hrs daily.
The big plant behind the lotus is E. Rose.
Plants: Riccia Fluitans, Indian fern, Glossostigma elatinoides, Echinodorus Rose, Echinodorus Ozelot, Tape grass, red lotus and red liger lotus.
Ferts: PMDD and root monster.
Maybe that's part of the plan?----------------

I see that the H.difformis can grow thick and fast to reach the surface. It will look better then when it covers the background. If the lotus were to be planted somewhere in the mid ground, it would not get enough light by then.
Anyway, the lotus is also blocking the view of the E.rose. Maybe can consider shifting it or trim to keep it low? Personally I would like to put the lotus on the left half of the tank for more contrast. But it may block light to your foreground plants.![]()
