LFS got sell adapter from big hose to small hose. But will affect your flow rate.
Hey guys, i'm using an atman canister cf-1000 series and i'm not quite sure about what the size of the hose is. But let's say if i wanna change to a smaller hose, it means i have to change the tap valves as well? what about my chiller's out/inputs?
What's an eyesore to me is actually the inlet's filter attachment to the hose that looks big, but if i buy a smaller one itself i'm afraid it won't fit. I'm actually very lost and confused now, i don't know why!

The adapter is called hose reducer. Measurement are like 16mm/13mm or 13mm/10mm. 16mm/13mm means reduce from 16mm to 13mm NOT 16mm inside and 13mm outside. It is different from hose measurement. Usually is black in color with barbs on the pipe to fit the hose tightly.
Definitely will reduce flow rate. Instead of wasting more money on hose and indirectly increase electrical consumption on the chiller due to lowered flow rate and more frequent kick in rate, why not sell it off and invest in a better filter.

thanks for the replies guys! ah, i see! didn't know it will affect the flow rate! nah, won't wanna sell it off.. rather keep it as spare or give away when i upgrade to another filter.
would eheim 2028 be fine?
