If it helps, all my lights are aquazonic. 2ft, 1ft. Reliable affordable. T5.
Hi guys, I was at Seaview today hunting for some equipment for my new 4x1.5x2 tank and I came across the Aquazonic T5 set and it seems rather competitively priced. Is this a good choice for lighting - reliability, workmanship etc?
I was also thinking of changing the bulbs should I decide on this set. Any recommendations for places to get better bulbs?![]()

Okie thanksdid you change any of your bulbs or are you still using the original ones?
recommended by a bro from forum. Used it with original tubes. Good stuff... value for money. Only thing is that it comes with only one adapter so if you if you are using auto timer, have to turn on 4 tubes at once if you are looking at the 4 tubes.
mmm i see.. That's interesting.. Thanks for bringing that up haha..
Just another question though - when we compare light fixtures we often see large differences in prices even though wattage is the same.. Built in features like cooling system and auto timer aside, how else do fixtures differ? I was looking at the ANS Illummax - Professional 4ft (T5HO) and was wondering what constitutes the price difference? Reflectors perhaps?
Tube, ballast, design, material, finishing, quality control, distributor, agent profit, LFS profit, etc? In other word many thing effect the prices![]()
