how to take out the algae on xmas moss,and what is the effect of too much potassium on plants..

Suggestion: deploy algae eating creatures , shrimps, snails, fish
Too much Potassium is not that worrying, it's the binding compound that can become toxic if accumulated in Hugh amount e.g sulphate if you are dosing potassium sulphate. That's why some people said dosing potassium chloride is safer ESP in Shrimp tank.

im currently using the seachem potassium ..is this good or what?

If you just keeping moss, there is no need of fertilizer.
