qian hu guys once told me that eheim 3e can never be used with a chiller due to the inbuilt computerized system.
Adding a chiller will disrupt the calculation of the water outflow as it will recognize the reservoir of the chiller instead of the actual tank.
Hence your flow rate will forever be low...
anyone managed to defy this theory ? Please advise cause I may be buying a chiller..

If the flow rate of the 3e is low, modify your chiller with an external temperature probe. The chiller will not be reliant on the canister filter flow rate but will monitor the actual temperature of the main tank when you place the external temperature probe at the main tank.
