Hi Guys, my new setup. Need some advice on my co2 diffuser as well. You can see below that i attached my inline co2 diffuser to my pre-filter hoping to get an excellent result but after waiting for almost 2hrs my co2 indicator is still blue. Hmm... am i doing it right? By the way, I just completed my setup about, yeah, 2hrs ago. I cant remember how long i waited last time. Do I need to wait longer?Attachment 26291Attachment 26292

how many bps you inject? did you use kH=4 solution for your drop checker? you probably wont see any fine bubble due to the prefilter.

Hi, I'm using 1bps and yes I am using KH=4 solution. I'm not expecting to see fine bubble but I am expecting the the indicator to turn green... but its almost 3hrs now and its still blue. I was hoping a better result than using just a normal diffuser in the tank... It should work right?

yes, tank is 3ft. My previous setup I only use 2bps and it was more than enough so with this current setup I thought I will need lesser... but surely for 4hrs the indicator should have turned green... dont think this co2 setup will work...

Do you have plants that can "pearl" under the the effects of light and injected CO2? Perhaps can test out if you do.

    Re: New Setup

I notice your previous setup using atomizer in the tank. That mean there will be plenty of small CO2 bubble circulated around your tank. This affecting the drop checker reading because the bubble go into you drop checker.

Hmm... so you are saying that because this has no bubble and therefore, I will not be able to use the indicator? hmm... then that is bad... choice...

    Re: New Setup

What i mean is your earlier setup may not measure corectly. Just like whathappen if you put drop checker near the diffuser. That why i suggest to increase co2 and see whether color change or not. It is also possible that your drop checker solution spoiled.

I inject 6-8 bps with inline diffuser to get 30ppm on my 3ft tank but i have much more plants
