which aquatic plants are good for carpeting,and will grow very fast?

IMO based on growth speed
1. Elatine triandra
2. glosso
3. hairgrass

For them to grow fast, you need rich substrate like ADA Amazonia. You also need CO2, fertilizer, light and good water flow. The higher the light wattage, the faster they grow but you need to increase CO2 and fertilizer dosage accordingly. The drawback for high wattage is algae will also grow faster, small mistake and it will take over your tank

. In other word it is more difficult to balance in high lighting.

You can get the plant from fish shop, it is quite rare so you might need to order from them.
