Yup, tried it. My java moss seems to like it better than my previous fluorescent light. They grow a lot faster with the LED light.
But not sure if that is due to intensity change. The usual Watt per gallon doesn't work with the LED bulbs.

My LED drivers will arrive next week. DIY and placed together with existing PL lights (Dual Combo)

Led light gives off higher par reading compared to fl and even T5. That is if you are using those 3w led bulb. The only thing about led light bulb is that people do not know the rate of degradation. For plants, use led that are 6500k.

I heard a lot of successful cases to keep moss with LED light.
But not heard about it can success on other plants.
