New Tank for KKP

Hi everyone, i have recently return to fish keeping hobby after i have decomm my planted tank 3 years ago. This time round i am looking to keep KKP.

I am considering to get a bare top 3x2x2 or 4x2x2 tank with cabinet from the tank maker or get those china ready made tank set, complete with hood,light set and OHF.

In LFS there are fews brands such as Jebo/Jinlong/Yuemei/Ninestar, anyone has any experiences on pros and cons for these tanks? I have found out that Ninestar has a better workmanship/design than the rest.

Any opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.

For me i'll NEVER buy china brand tanks and cabinets/stand because i don't trust their quality and workmanship. For tanks go and order from N.A or CR Aquarium - this is the 2 that i know is reputable. I'm not sure about the cabinet though. Never ever safe money on tank and stand/cabinet cos it's not worth the problems you'll face if it gives problems later on.

Let us know which brand tank are made out of China, brother.

I heard that the cabinet that come with the china-made set is not durable. The wood can easily damage when exposed to water. Anyway, will get mine from those local tank maker.
Gonna miss my previous Bioplast tank..they are no longer in production...

If i'm not wrong most of the ready made cabinets are not durable because they use compress wood or particle board. Go for a custom made cabinet, made from plywood.
By the way anybody knows if David the tank maker (don't know his company name) is still in business a not cos i tried calling him but his number no longer in use?

Plywood is also a compressed wood. Best to use wood that resist water like kapur or chengai.
