Beautiful tank, I would prefer smaller fauna though, perhaps boraras
    ...I love rubies too ...

Re: sharing a simple 1ft tank

Thanks for all you comments and suggestion.

Am still trying to get the Ludiwgia to be more dense. Have also remove the Rotala 'green' as the bottom leave are rotting. wondering if adding an additional light (either 2x6w or 2x8w) will help?

am in the midst of preparing for a 2ft setup (still getting equipments & wood), so might be shifting the rummies to the 2ft while getting boraras for the 1ft tank

    thanks all again
    appreciate much

    Hi david,

Just a curious question, do you does any liquid fertilizer or any fertilizer sticks in your substrate. Your plants are so green and healthy with just 0.5bps, thats quite amazing. I especially like your blyxa, never had luck with it.

    hi Equidorz,

have use Seachem (Excel & Flourish) and Wondergro (micro & macro) every now and then, this was before buying the CO2 setup. The Blyxa japonica was doing okay without the pressurize co2 but definitely grew faster later. can pass you some to try on my next trimming if you are interested (just cut away some but not sure if i will kill the plant haha).

oh i did stick JBL ferrotabs to help on the tiger lily, about half a tablet.

    cheerio, david

    Hi david.

noted. i though that you did not dose any liquid fertilizers and still got amazing growth which is quite incredible. Anyway thank you for your offer i don't think i blyxa in my tank, it will still melt away eventually and cause nitrate. LOL. kudos for the nice gesture though. JBL ferro tabs are not bad, i have them in my tank as well.

Cheers and have a good weekend.
