It is a breeding box for the fish right, but what makes it different from the normal type seen in LFS? I have not use such product yet.

Expandability option. The normal ones do not have that as I've found out this afternoon trying to connect 2 box to become 1. A few newly bought fish escaped to the main tank through a gap. My plan was to get it to feed and become stable before releasing it to the tank next week.

One of these Metacube products was being sold on Aquabid for awhile, but at a high price. I have not seen this locally though. Unless this company appears at a coming Aquarama, or a distributor here takes up their products, eBay or Aquabid is your best bet.
