I find that the position of the driftwood on the left corner is going into waste, I would get a few more of those type of driftwood and place it in the center and create a fallen tree with branches sticking out from all direction and a touch of plants to give a natural look.

you should try to space your lotus out

OR... move the wood closer to the big mass of plants and then put a few more on either side to frame them. You need something to merge the mid-foreground with the side foregrounds.

I think the wood is superfluous, give it away
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    Samuel,

If I were you...I would remove that driftwood sticking of nowhere. It looks like a you know what! Anyhow, that driftwood destroy the ambience of your tank's scaping. Just my two sens worth.

I like the feel of the nympheas in the center.

IMO, the scaping will look more pleasing by replacing the Eichhornia azurea infront of the wood (covering entire left front corner?) with the crypts at the right front corner, and more tenullus(?) to replace the original crypts. A open area from center to right is created. The wood and its background can be a duplication of the one on the right background, thus forming a mountain-feel backdrop.

These would be minimum changes and simplies the shapes and color transitions in the scaping?

I like the tank leh. Just like your previous setup.

I have the same view as lorba. the first thing that strike me was the E.azurea looking out of place. You seem to have more of them at the back? Maybe can put them together there.

Are you going to staple some kind of moss on your backdrop?
