    its getting really fat has fogged eyes and some weird stuff coming out the tail

    Yes, it is moulting, provide ample hiding places for it to prevent stress. Also, congratulations, it is holding eggs (the stuff on its tail) , try not to disturb it too much.

    Looks like a mandarin crab (geosesarma notophorum). The baby crabs do not need brackish or salt water and will do fine with normal freshwater.
