you have corys, what substrate are you using? Cory like to dig, so it might contribute to the particle in the water.
Also do you have those white color filter wool in your filter? It help to trap the particle.
Hi All,
I have no idea why the need of pasting oyama background paper but I paste them on every tank I have right now. Is there a reason why people paste them?
Right now, I don't know if i should remove them. Because what I think is that particles in the water will stand out more from the black background, true? I see many people in AQ, they don't paste them in their planted or rockscape tanks.
I've cycled my tank with my Atman CF600 for 2weeks? In the canister, from the bottom, CRs -> Black Sponge -> CRs -> Sera Filter Wool but it seems the water will never be 'crystal clear'
In that tank, i have 6 corys,4 betta fries and 1 otto.
What can I do? Is it a must to get Biohome etc to have 'crystal clear' water?
Thanks All for looking and replying!

I paste black oyama paper to hide the wires and the wall behind the tank and to bring out the colour of my cardinal tetras.
Agree with shadow, corys like to dig up the substrate, especially during meal times..
I'm using sand, it does stir up alittle but after that, it doesn't clear up also. I have the sera filter wool inside. What else do you think i can try to have clear water?
