    Re: Xylos vivariums

    hey vivaboy76
the L.careulea Greentreefrog are in No# 1 viv by themselves. they eat everything fish, mice and anyting that moves so they live together. Sadly I had one die about
3 months ago in the winter. and I had her for 19years. the others are doing well.
the fallax and gracilenta hang in the other vivarium you see. I have had them for about 3 years.
the chloris are babys and are hanging in another tank with anthriums, though 2 have gotten quite large and will soon need their own pad.
what frog have you got aver there?
Is there a link to your tank shots?

Bro, Nice vivarium you have there. Care to have more full shots?
Fish keeping is not a good hobby unless you received support from your family to keep them.

    Re: Xylos vivariums

Good lighting is essential for most plants and every plant has different growing enviromental conditions
    photoperiod changes often encourages flowering
it is a matter of finding the right position in the viv for each plant
Broms need dry mounts and good air flow, where as allot of the mosses like good drainage and consistant water, I have pyrosis that gets a little water once a day and thrives on a dry mount in the careulea viv and anthriums that never get watered but there roots are in well oxygenated water
but i do think lighting is the most essential then work out the plants from there
I would be happy to answer more specific questions as I could go on for ever about specific plant requirements.
The last picture has an espicia in it.
    thanks for asking
