Have been having this feeling that my 4 ft tank needs some overhaul. Pls give me some advice on what to improve. Thanks!

Your 4-ft looks great, just some trimming will do. Get rid of some excessive plants and the tank will look just great.

BTW, are you using chiller to make those moss growing so good? What fertilizer are you using at the moment?

Hey, I like the "wild and natural" look. No need to do major overhaul if I were you.

But the Blyxa on the left is blocking a nice stem plant at the back. Maybe trim it down or shift it further mid-ground. Let more E.tenellus crawl to the left. Under the driftwood on the right got a bit of bare space. Can put other lower light plants like Crypts or Anubias, if you like.

    Nice tank.

I am looking for the wood on your right with this height and shape.

    But i can't find it.

Let me know where you buy it?

    Are you selling it off?

Let me know if you are.

    Thks.

Thanks for the compliments. Nope, I do not have a chiller, only a four-fan mini fan from Ocean. Used to have a big bunch of riccia on the wood but grew so well that it started to ball and float. Gave up trimming and removed it totally. Considering replanting the taiwan moss with x'mas moss instead.

    As for fertilisers:
Dennerle Deponit-mix 150 base fertiliser for start.
TMG (20ml); Seachem Flourish Trace (10ml); for weekly dose.
3 bps of CO2 for 10 hrs daily.
5 Stick fertilisers (taiwan) every 3 months.

Will heed the advice to add low-light plants on the right. Thanks again.
