Hi everyone, this is my 2nd attempt at iwagumi setup. The materials were reused from the previous scape & changed the plant from HC to glosso. Bought some goodies from my HKG trip early this month so finally can put it to good use.

    Tank: ANS OptiCube 60M (60x30x36cm)
    Lighting: Aquazonic T5 4 x 24w (Osram 6500K tube & D&D Giesemann Powerchrome Midday)
Filtration: Eheim Ecco 2232 (Eheim Mech & ADA Bio Rio)
    Chiller: Hailea 100A 1/20 HP
Co2: NA 2L Cylinder with Solenoid with UP Atomizer System
Substrate: Amazonia Aquasoil (Normal & Powder)
    Material: ADA Kurokinryu Stones

Rocks are indeed nice and I would prefer for the main rock to stand up or point higher. Also agree that the slope doesn't look steep enough. Btw, those glosso looks good and you must have spent lots of time planting it.

Update of the tank. Faunas in the tank are 4 yamato shrimps, 2 Otos & 25 Ember tetra.

you should use rocks with similar pattern. Your main rock is darker color and rough surface where as the other 2 supporting rocks are lighter color and smooth.

IMHO, if you can shift the main rock off to a side slightly (golden ratio), it'll look much better. Looks a bit too "balance" to me. Some variation in placement/size will perhaps make it more natural.

Great work on the gloss though. Can see they are growing nicely with your very good equipment. :-)

    Re: Iwagumi - Take 2

Thanks for all the kind comments

The tank is currently having some algae issues which i hope can be resolved in time to come.

The tetras are still new to the tank & timid which is why they can't be seen when i took the pictures. They are relatively small when i got them so i got only 25 of them taking into account they will grow.

I agree on the placement of the rocks. I thought of just using the center piece only & replace the 2 side rocks with other plants. Thinking of using hairgrass which will surround the center piece. Wonder hows the effect...

I got the rocks from Mizuworld however no choosing is allowed.

Hi guys, I know this post is from yesteryear, but I am curious how the Ecco 2232 measured up with the chiller? Any advise or comments?
