How to look after baby discus???

Hi there,

I'm a greenhorn in breeding discus. Just started breeding recently. I had a pair of discus lay eggs in my 2 feet tank. Yet I do not know what to do with them.... can any one here advise me???

leave it alone.. they r suppose to eat the slime on their parents body.. try putting some anti-fungus soln...

Hi. Thanks for your response. You did mention to put Anti Fungus Solution. Will it affect the small baby fishes? So how long can the babies follow their parents? When is the most suitable time to separate the babies from the parents?Awaiting for your promt reply. Thank you.

it will not affect the baby provide u dun overdose the medication..
they follow until they grow coin size? depend also.. sometimes fast.. sometimes slow..
