Any contacts for 5 feet tank plus cabinet?

Just like the title says, can anyone recommend me a shop or dealer who won't tear a hole in my pocket for a 5 feet aquarium with a cabinet that's gonna go in my living room...

Even better, recommend me a custom tank and cabinet maker that has reasonable prices?

I finally have space for a big tank

no more nano tanks for me

I'm getting mine from one of the vendors here - Aquatic Style Mine is not so large though 4x1.5x2 receiving it this week I'll update you on the workmanship

So far had a pleasant experience with them, very informative session and not rushing to make a sale kind of dealership.

Yeah I know but I just want to get something good for a reasonable price since I know there are dealers who wanna make a killing for same quality product and also there's branding... Not all that shines is gold bro...

I'm a techie at heart so for example:

for the same price or even cheaper I can get an Acer notebook with even better specs when compared to a notebook from Fujitsu or Sony's Vaio series, of which all are made in china and terms of warranty are the same...

So lets say I want to get an Acer or Dell tank instead of a Sony one ya...

The tank was delivered this week and it's looking pretty good now

The tank itself looks awesome and i've filled it halfway so far to check for leaks and there are none so far.

However there appears to be an issue with the cabinet door though

When the tank was empty the doors opened fine but after being half filled the left door appears to have slight contact with the top of the cabinet and does not open smoothly. I dare not fill up the tank completely yet and have contacted the vendor about this issue. He has told me it is an easy fix and has agreed to do it for me but has yet to arrange a time. I will update again soon!

The cabinet warped when filled halfway with water? Imagine it is full of water with substrate, rocks and drift wood. What simple remedy does the vendor recommend? I am a bit nervous if you ask me.

I'm rather interested myself.. It's strange that the cabinet that was built to handle the weight should bend/flex in anyway.. He has not replied I'll update as soon as I can

Hence the hesitation to fill the tank any further - it's being used to soak the driftwood now. I'd post a picture but whenever I try attaching a photo it says something along the line of "failed to upload IMG00423".

I feel for you bro that is some alarming news... warping is no joke coz structural integrity is compromised and coming from a technical background, I agree with the rest of the bros, there wont be an easy fix... They better repair it for you to your satisfaction otherwise demand for a replacement for the cabinet since they didnt do their math for calculating the combined load or reinforcing their design... Thanks for sharing with the rest of us here...

I am even more disappointed in the way he has handled this. When I called him a second time after he failed to arrange a time with me, he said that he would contact me that same night. I received no further news from him.

I have drained the tank today and checked the door. It looks misaligned somehow but the door opens slightly easier now. Will update once I manage to get hold of him

I just did some snooping around my cabinet door and it turns out it may just be a misaligned door :P You experts would probably have noticed it if I managed to upload a photo. I will give a full report once the issue has been resolved

you have to pay top dollar for quality product. a thick glass well design 5 feet tank with sump, water connections and chengal wood stand should cost 4k and up. more for stainless steel. i got mine from Coral Reef aquarium in eunos. they are a factory who do customs tanks. go direct to them to discuss, if you ask LFS, they will still go there but charge you a premium just for being a middleman. when it comes to big tank construction, dont buy off the rack pre made fishtank from serangoon. it just look cheap
