Its been quite a some time since i start searching for a pair of young bitaeniata.. Finally today i chanced upon a pair at C328.. I don't expect them to breed because i do have another pair of german ram and 8 more dicrossus filamentosus in the same tank(don't worry, its a large 422 tank).

Some photos taken an hour after release in tank.

    Semi-flaring at female..

    Female.

    Enjoy!

Congrats bro. I saw them 2 days ago as well. Plus I noticed that they do have Breitbinden as well just like JZX. I wonder if they are getting from the same breeder.

At least there is still some keeping them... I'm hunting for Apisto baenschi ( inka ) does anyone know where I could get it... By the way does c328 just sell either male or female only???

Jus a little suggest why not let's start a thread and all Apisto keeper can post picture of their Apisto and show it...

    Re: Apistogramma Bitaeniata

    updates..

    What ya looking at?

    When its not flaring..

when its flaring at the female..

When its flaring at a mirror.. Red color starts to appear! thats what i love about apistos.. full of colors! Though it might not be a full flare.. still very nice to watch.. guess it is still new to the tank.. Thats why not really want to flare..
