hi is it possible to do a moss wall using only 1 sheet of metal mesh?

can use thread to secure the moss on it

yes, why not. but try using those stainless steel wired mesh. i Saw it once at c328 (florist). use thread like limz_777 mentioned or fishing string will also work as well.

I believe you got to cut through the metal mesh abit. Try making a small hole so that you can force the white clips in. However please be aware that fishes(if you intending to keep any) will tend to get trap behind the wire mesh. So either leave allowance between the back of your tank and the wire mesh or leave no allowance at all. the latter you have to modify abit using your imagination.
